Formally educated in Industrial / Organizational Psychology and Advanced Statistics, I am looking to bring my extensive applied and research-based experience in organizational structure, team dynamics, personnel selection, and leader development to the world of professional sports.
I am currently the Technical Coordinator for an NCAA D1 volleyball team, where I conduct mental performance training with the players and provide advanced statistical analysis for player development and opponent evaluation. I have over 10 years of experience teaching Managment, Psychology, Research Methods, and Organizational Sciences at the college level. I have consulted on many HR related projects including in the non-profit, corporate, military, and elite/professional sport sectors, and am happy to provide a portfolio upon request.
I am ABD in my PhD program for Industrial / Organizational Psychology at George Mason University. My dissertation topic is “The role of leader development affordances in effort allocation”. I also hold a Master's degree in I/O Psychology from GMU and a Graduate Certificate in Statistics and Research Methods from Missouri State University.
I received my bachelor's degree in 2.5 years with Distinction from the Honors College at Missouri State University. My statistics education has included machine learning, big data, data mining, psychometrics, social network analysis, Bayesian statistics and more.
