I lead patients through a plan of exercises and correct their form. I communicate with patients to know how they are feeling and also connect with them to make them feel better. I clean equipment and do laundry as well. We put exercises on files and send them to patients to do at home. I put together hot packs, cold packs, e-stim pads, and NMES pads for patients that need it. I also perform cold laser therapy for patients as well.
Being a physics therapy aide, I learned so much about working in a professional setting and how to communicate with patients and PTs to help patients recover as best as possible.
I’m currently in my third year of undergrad working towards a Bachelor‘s of Science in Kinesiology: Exercise Science
