Hello, my name is Maximos Anchors. I have recently graduated from University of Nevada, Las Vegas as a mechanical engineering student in May of 2024. I am looking to apply for a position in your company to learn, grow as a team, and start my career.
Please consider my request for employment on your engineering team. I recently transferred from the University of Nevada, Reno which is where I lived from 2018 to 2022. While I was there, I worked as an engineering intern for seven months at Gary Platt Manufacturing.
During my employment, I worked in SolidWorks, used 3d tooling, created and modified drawings, updated revisions, and learned about GD&T. Before I moved, I worked for five months at a company called Precision Valve which does honing and lapping for hydraulic valves at aerospace companies like Boeing, SpaceX, and Williams International.
Valve, I learned more about the manufacturing processes and the importance of tolerances in machine parts.
