• Studied molecular design of the fluorinated easter electrolyte enabling subzero temperature Li-ion batteries by evaluating the degree of fluorination and binding energy of solvents with Li-ions. 
• Studied anion coordinating additives to boost the subzero temperature performance of high-volt Li-ion batteries by tailoring SEI composition. 
• Tailoring easter-based electrolyte with Lewis acidic additives for improved subzero temperature performance of Li-ion batteries. 
• Studied the effect of Li-salt’s anion and Boron-based additives on the low-temperature performance of the Li-ion batteries at fluorinated easter-based solvents. 
• Screened solvent for the electrolytes formulation to enable high voltage NMC cathode material for the Li-ion batteries. 
• Studied molecular design of the sulfate/sulfite additives for improved high-voltage Li-ion battery performance at elevated temperatures. 
• Rational design and screened solvents for the formulation of electrolytes to enable advanced Na-NMC/ Sodium battery for improved subzero temperature performance.
• Electrochemical diagnosis of the solid polymer electrolyte and report preparation for the industrial partners.

• Rational design of Lewis acidic metal-organic frameworks (MOF) encapsulated organic liquid electrolytes as solid electrolytes for the Li-metal batteries. 
• Rational design of the Mg dopped Nickel rich NMC cathode for the high voltage Li-ion batteries and NMC cathodes for the Na-metal battery. 
• Studied oxygen vacancy (Lewis acidity) of Reducible transition metal oxide catalyzed hydrogenolysis of lignin.
• Studied mechanistic and mechanism of the lignin self-hydrogenolysis over reducible transitional metal oxides.
