Hello! I am a Biochemistry major on the pre-med track at the University of Mount Union, with a minor in Human and Health Values. I am passionate about patient-centered care, leadership, and community involvement, and I am actively building a strong foundation for a future career in medicine.
On campus, I serve as the Vice President of Philanthropy for Alpha Xi Delta, where I lead fundraising initiatives, coordinate service events, and work closely with both campus and national organizations to support meaningful causes. I also work as a Laboratory Teaching Assistant, where I support students in developing strong laboratory skills, reinforce core scientific concepts, and foster a collaborative learning environment.
Outside of the classroom, I am a certified health coach with a strong interest in holistic wellness and preventive care. I am also a member of the Alliance Symphony Orchestra, where I play the violin, and I continue to participate in competitive Irish Dancing which is an activity that has taught me discipline, resilience, and time management.
I currently work part-time in retail, further strengthening my communication, teamwork, and customer service skills. I am looking to continue gaining hands-on experience in healthcare, research, and leadership roles as I prepare for medical school.
