I hold a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from West Coast University and am finishing a Master of Science in Nursing at Walden University. My clinical experience spans various settings, notably as a Registered Nurse at the Medical Associates of Northwest Arkansas and a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist at Texas Health Resources. Throughout my nursing career, I have consistently worked towards bridging gaps in healthcare access, particularly for underserved populations.

As a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist at Texas Health Resources, I provided essential education and support to patients facing social determinants of health. It was profoundly rewarding to empower those without insurance by connecting them with local resources, enabling them to overcome health disparities and improve their overall well-being. This experience has equipped me with unique insights into patient’s needs, which would enhance my contributions as an APN at your company.

As a registered nurse at Medical Associated of Northwest Arkansas, I work in an outpatient pulmonary clinic where I manage comprehensive health histories and facilitate prior authorizations. This role has further honed my clinical assessment and communication skills, preparing me for the expanded responsibilities of an APRN role. My 640 hours of focused clinical training have instilled in me the essential skills and knowledge required to excel as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse.
