Greetings and thank you for your consideration. I‘m New York born and raised but I’ve traveled throughout this beautiful country so I have a open heart because of a grateful mindset and aim. I fell in love with bike riding when I moved to Oregon in 1997 and have been rolling through my journey of life ever since. When I got back to NY in 2004 I started my bike messenger career and now am a 20 year professional.

Hello I am Melvin Mendoza and I am inquiring about a courier/messenger position. I am a bike messenger and have worked with a couple of companies from 2004 starting with urban Xpress as well as food delivery as of 2008. My bikes are in top working condition(one for dry and one for wet weather)which includes a rear rack(60lb capacity plus my bags which has good capacity as well),lights and horn/bell as well as the proper gear for the elements.

My knowledge of manhattan is pretty vast I have a smart phone with updated map apps. I've reviewed your criteria and certain that I meet your standards. I would be an asset to your staff because of my experience,work ethic and positive demeanor.

I have a strong amount of public relations,customer service and hospitality/food service experience as well as fit and highly competent and comfortable riding throughout Manhattan.
