Checking temps and gauges on Ifix/computer
Checking tension bars and pressure on nip rollers
Safely using an air nozzle to blow bubbles to specifics widths and sending them up the rack
Making sure correct resin is being used for specific formulations and gauges
Checking width of tape/material to ensure tubing or plastic is within SOC
Checking dust layer and duster vat
Checking sedan layer under a microscope to ensure the barrier is inside the tubing
Checking for safety issues or broken equipment
Start up and shut down procedures
Checking rack parameters to ensure quality material is being made
Using digital micrometer to ensure that material is appropriate thickness
Hand offs at start and end of shift
Logging in rolls and impounding bad material
Contacting maintenance if trouble shooting problems is not fixing the issue
Making sure the right resin is being mixed and used correctly
Contacting maintenance ahead of time when order change is due (they had to change the dies/rings that melt the resin)
Keeping up with orders and when the next one starts by watching how much material is made by weight on screen.
