Grew-up under the poverty line obtaining resources from the government and nonprofits. I've seen first hand the many challenges unstable substance abuse disorders and mental health disorders can create. To advocate for systemic change, I obtained my bachelor's degree in Community Advocacy and Social Policy, a social work major. I have a dream to one day open a homeless rehabilitation center with transitional housing in Arizona.
The last four years I was a project admin and coordinator in the semi-conductor industry. This involved keeping up with 500+ key stakeholders, multiple conflicting deadlines, managing confidential documents, and continuously learning new tasks. Prior to that, I was an account admin and indexer lead for a third party medical record company.
This role involved managing a team of 8, onboarding new clients, creating training material, training employees on new processes, and handling escalated concerns.
I obtained my bachelor's degree in Community Advocacy and Social Policy, a social work major, from Arizona State University in fall of 2021. My course work focused on the criminal justice system and underprivilege communities such as LGBTQ+, domestic violence victims, behavioral health, substance abuse, and immigrants.
