Mince Mbisikmbo

I'm an aviation Management student at Saint Louis University. I'm passionate about working with others, especially in the customer service part of the aviation industry. I love to learn, work, and experience in the aviation field opportunity where I can learn from professionals and improve my knowledge deeper.

I'm in my fourth year at Saint Louis University and have been working at INTO Saint Louis University since July 2021. I worked as front desk attendance for about six months and have worked with the Enrollment team for about 14 months. I worked closely with students, staff, and the community by providing higher customer service, building strong verbal and non-verbal communication with others, and engaging in some projects given to me for the learning experience.

As for my position in the enrollment team, I worked closely using salesforce to review new international student applications, manage emails, and manage some small manual tasks from the supervisor. I have been participating in some aviation-related organizations in my college life, such as Women in Aviation, Alpha Etha Rho Chapter, and some industry field trips from some of the courses. I have yet to have the opportunity to work in the aviation field; however, I will be doing my internship at Lambert Airport for the summer of 2023.

This internship opportunity is for me to learn about airport management, marketing, and other parts of the operation.I look forward to discovering and learning more about the aviation industry through this opportunity.

I went to high school in New Zealand for three years and started my study at Saint Louis University, majoring in Aeronautics and concentrating on Flight Science since 2019. I have experience in flying airplanes and built my flight hour to 135, including dual, solo, and cross-country flights. I changed my major to Aviation Management in 2022 and would love to work in management aspects of the field, especially customer service, and management.

I also minor in Education to build my confidence in communicating with others and giving back to the community by teaching children who don't have access to Education. I'm passionate about helping people because I want them to experience the best things they deserve in the world.
