• Handled multiple projects in lab to manipulate polymer network morphology retained in cholesteric liquid crystal elastomers (CLCE).
• Created, modeled, and presented data that proves process improvement and material refinement.
• Initiated usage of new chemical formulations in experiments to improve thermochromism properties and alignment while decreasing glass transition temperature of produced CLCE.
• Operated with Differential Scanning Calorimetry (DSC), Polarized Optical Microscopy (POM), UV-Vis

Spectroscopy, and Dynamic Mechanical Analysis (DMA) for thermal, optical, and mechanical characterizations of materials.
