Murphy Taylor

I am a husband and father of six, including foster/adopted children. I have been married for 19 years and lived primarily in Louisiana and Alaska. The bulk of my work experience has been in the oil and gas industry until three years ago when I was given the opportunity to become the Chief Operating Officer of a small management firm in Anchorage, Alaska. I am currently seeking to return to rotational work.

Over 18 years of hands-on oilfield and operational leadership experience spanning upstream field services, materials coordination, and executive oversight. Proven ability to drive safety, efficiency, and strategic growth across drilling, logistics, and camp maintenance environments. I have completed a COO development program, blending real-world experience with executive strategy.

I have a General Education Diploma from Kenai Peninsula Community College as well as hundreds of hours of oil and gas related classroom time and safety training. I recently finished a Chief Operating Officer program from M.I.T. and obtained certification in three distinct areas of executive function.
