I began my career as a busser earning $7.20 per hour. Over time, I advanced to the position of line cook, which marked the start of my professional journey in the culinary field. I subsequently transitioned from the restaurant industry to pursue formal education in culinary arts. After completing my studies, I relocated to Alaska and worked on the North Slope as an assistant cook under the head cook. Later, I accepted the position of Food and Beverage Director at Alaska Job Corps.
I began my education at Davis Career and Technical High School. Shortly after graduating, I attended Exeter Job Corps, where I earned my culinary certifications within a year.
