I am a dedicated healthcare professional with over 13 years of Registered Nurse experience, having worked in both Saudi Arabia and India. My passion for integrating technology with healthcare led me to complete a Master’s in Biomedical and Health Informatics. During this time, I had the privilege of working at SUNY Oswego as an Assistant to the Dean and contributing to the Syracuse Community Health Center (SCHC) initiative, where I supported projects focused on digital health and data-driven decision-making in healthcare environments.
I began my career as a BSc Nurse, gaining extensive hands-on experience in patient care, emergency response, and interdisciplinary teamwork across diverse healthcare settings.
Building on my clinical background, I pursued a postgraduate degree in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics, which enhanced my understanding of patient-centered care through the lens of nutrition and preventive health.
In addition to my academic and professional experience, I hold certifications in ACLS, BLS, RRT, Fire Disaster Management, COVID-19 response, and Quality Assurance. These certifications reflect my commitment to maintaining high standards of care, safety, and continuous learning in the healthcare profession.
I bring over 13 years of experience as a critical care nurse, having worked in both Saudi Arabia and India. Currently, I am pursuing my RN licensure in the United States to continue my clinical journey here. Alongside my nursing background, I have expanded my expertise into health informatics, having worked as a General Assistant to the Dean of Biomedical and Health Informatics at SUNY Oswego and as a Healthcare Data Analyst at Syracuse Community Health Center (SCHC).
At SCHC, I gained hands-on experience in data retrieval and debugging using Python, R, and Excel, and was recognized for completing tasks ahead of schedule. These roles have equipped me with strong skills in biomedical and health informatics. I have also actively participated in key industry events such as the Robotics & Drones Conference USA, the National Coordination for Health IT Annual Meeting 2022, the Med Tech Biomed Industry Workforce Summit, and the BHI Quest 2022.
I hold a Master’s degree in Biomedical and Health Informatics from the State University of New York (SUNY), where I developed a strong foundation in health data management, clinical informatics, and healthcare technology. My studies focused on integrating clinical knowledge with data-driven tools to improve healthcare outcomes, and included hands-on experience with data analysis, healthcare systems, and informatics solutions.
