I’m currently an Allied Health Sciences student at the University of Connecticut, graduating in May 2026. I’m working toward becoming a physician assistant, so I’ve been building hands-on clinical experience through my medical assistant training and my role as a research assistant. In my research position, I work directly with participants, assisting with DEXA scans, specimen collection, and data entry, which has really strengthened my attention to detail and patient interaction skills.
I also have experience working in fast-paced environments through my role as a server, where I developed strong communication and multitasking abilities. I’m looking to gain direct patient care experience and contribute to a team in a clinical setting.
