CNC machinist with 10+ years of experience with both Lathe and milling machines. I can perform Machine set-ups, tool offsets, edits and troubleshoots programs with minimal supervision. I have trained numerous employees to set up and operate CNC machines primarily CNC lathes.
I have programming knowledge but have minimal use of CAM programs (BobCAD). I am able to adjust speeds and feeds based on material types. I have held tolerances up to + -.0002. I have experience with materials such as Aluminum, Plastics, Austenitic stainless Steel, Nickel-based superalloys, and Titanium-based alloys.
Able to troubleshoot machinery to ensure production and product quality. Familiar with GD&T, drawings, prints, measurement hand tools, CMM, and computers. Able to assess best tooling for operation and efficiency of operation.
