To start I drove commercial trucks for 12 years until I hurt my shoulder, then I took a job at a hospital as a sitter. where I sat on patients with TBI, SI, and HI tendencies. after my first day I knew healthcare was what I should have been doing as my professional all along. I am now a care partner on the neurology unit at the hospital I work for.
