My name is Nick Rocca and I'm a graduate of Emerson College's Media Arts Production program, focusing mainly on creating videos, documentaries and more.
I've always loved telling compelling, personal, and unique real-world stories through short-form video. I’ve always had an undying drive to tell people’s stories, especially in the documentary format, and I'm interested and telling the stories of businesses, brands and organizations. My passion for people and their stories also led me to pursue a Journalism minor at Emerson.
I have used a wide variety of video production equipment and am well-versed in editing software such as Adobe Premiere, After Effects, Final Cut Pro, and Avid Media Composer. I have experience in all phases of production and am always looking for new opportunities to apply my skills and take my storytelling abilities to new heights.
I have interned at production companies both in Boston and Los Angeles where I conducted detailed project research, logged footage for films in production, and created marketing content using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Premiere. I have also been Head Content Creator for media production company Insight Image & Media, where I have shot and edited aerial videography for clients using DJI Mavic drones. I have also managed the company's social media accounts and created branded video content for its social platforms.
I am a graduate of Emerson College with a bachelor's degree in Media Arts Production and a minor in Journalism. At Emerson, I worked in a variety of positions on Emerson Independent Video (EIV) productions, from Social Media Manager to Executive Producer. During my final year of college, I was accepted into Emerson's BA capstone program where I hired and led a team of volunteer crew members to produce a short documentary.
