I have spent three years working at Tick Klock Drugs in Colfax, Washington, as a pharmacy assistant and cashier. Along with that I was raised on an animal and wheat farm, both taught me the value of hard work and commitment and other important skills: these include dedication, self-motivation, attention to detail, patience, respect, and the ability to work with all ages of people. They have also helped me learn to adapt well to very different environments.

Pharmacy Assistant, Tick Klock Drugs
As a pharmacy assistant, when working as a cashier my duties involved overseeing credit, check, and cash transactions for medicine and other products, accepting payments, providing receipts, and gift-wrapping products. I also clean the restrooms, tidy the shelves and floor, stock products on the shelves, and deliver medicines to clients' homes.
Back in the pharmacy I assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications to customers or health professionals. I accurately measure, count, pour, and mix medications, label and package prescriptions, and distribute them to patients. I manage inventory by stocking shelves and checking for expired medications. Additionally, I follow safety protocols to protect myself and others from hazardous substances, and ensure medications are prepared and dispensed safely
