As a recent School Site Coordinator, I managed and supported the diversified needs of students. My experience in the coordination of support services has developed my ability to assess needs at an individual level and implement specific intervention plans. This skill is paramount for developing personalized care strategies for children and families in need. I thereafter engaged in strong collaboration with educators, parents, and external partners to create an enabling environment that allowed students to succeed. This collaboration is very important in a specialized care setting where effective teamwork and communication are key towards the accomplishment of holistic care results.

Finally, as a School Site Coordinator managing various programs at the same time, I acquired substantial organizational skills, which taught me how to juggle numerous activities and handle pressure associated with delivering different services within a busy care coordination position. Throughout my career, I have consistently demonstrated strengths in motivation, team-building, and communication.

My degree in Child Advocacy prepares a graduate for the field by striving to protect and vindicate children's rights, especially those maltreated and in critical situations. This degree we learn knowledge and skills that may be applied through working with children in the legal system, social services, healthcare, and educational settings. It puts much emphasis on the theoretical understanding and practical approaches towards ensuring the well-being of children and having their voices heard in decisions that concern their lives.
