Experience -different levels of management
Jimmy John’s: October 2016 – Current
At Jimmy John's I started out as a crew member but with manager experience from Starbucks before was able to move up in a couple month to a PIC, and then soon after a store assistant. As the assistant my duties included inventory,
managing staff and orders, ordering loads for the store, and running the store in the managers’ absence. At this time I was also the store’s “sampler” in charge of finding events in our area and organizing bringing them samples and marketing materials, at this time I worked at the location by the U of A so I worked with them and the many businesses in that area. I was an assistant until 2019 when I became the general manager of my own store for the next two years.
My duties included writing the schedule, organizing marketing, training all employees on all duties, and auditing the inventory and analyzing our usage report for waste. I stepped down after 2 ½ years wanting to leave and pursue a new path but that always doesn’t always happen as fast as you thought and I am now an assistant at a store currently.
Safeway/Starbucks: August 2015 - September 2016
I worked in the Starbucks in the Safeway and became the assistant manager there after a couple months; I had very similar duties to being an assistant at Jimmy johns. I left Starbucks because I ended up moving across town and without a car I decided to find a new job closer and applied at Jimmy John's where my brother worked and was very happy.
Doctors Choice Assisted Living: May 2015 - August 2015
My first job was a summer job at my aunt and uncles assisted living practice in Mesa, Arizona. My duties included keeping the rooms of the residence clean, helping in the kitchen with cooking and serving the residents, and I would plan activities with the residents twice a week usually an art and crafts sort of project. It was every rewarding work and I loved it but left to return to Tucson for my senior year of high school.
I graduated from Tucson high school in 2016 where I was in all honors and AP classes (except for math, we win some we lose some) and I was the vice president for the screen printing and graphic design club my junior and senior year.
