Currently a student at UC Berkeley majoring in Economics and Computer Science
I recently finished an internship at FINRA, the financial regulation body, where I focused on capital markets and investment banking as a Risk Monitoring Intern. Through this capacity, I was able to analyze various member firms on a surface level risk assessment as well as performing due diligence in order to explore internal operations. Through this position, I was involved with senior level management in creating reports on audit forms, overseeing underwriting of IPOs, and cross-referencing SEC regulations to ensure proper compliance.
I also spent time working in a boutique investment banking and private equity firm based in Canada for middle-market transactions, Yorkdale Partners. Through this role, I primarily focused my efforts on mergers and acquisitions in the technology industry through researching potential opportunities to acquire businesses with at least $5 million in EBITA. I sourced over 50 companies every week and screened the company through an introductory calling as well as participating in calls with the managing partner. Beyond that, I created industry specific research reports to examine possible trends and integration within private equity buyers.
I am a student at UC Berkeley majoring in Computer Science and Economics with an intended graduation of May 2025.
