Experienced molecular biologist with a strong background in CRISPR/Cas9 screening, assay development, and immuno-oncology, with 5+ years across industry and academic settings. Proven expertise in designing and optimizing high-throughput genetic screens, working with AAV and lentiviral systems, culturing primary cancer and immune cells, and analyzing gene-function relationships through NGS, flow cytometry, and imaging. Adept at building robust experimental pipelines, troubleshooting complex biological assays, and collaborating across interdisciplinary teams.
Passionate about genetic tool development and translational research at the interface of immunology and cancer biology.
I am a molecular biologist with diverse experience in functional genomics, CRISPR screening, viral vector engineering, and high-throughput assay development across both industry and academic settings. At Insitro and PTC Therapeutics, I led CRISPR/Cas9-based screening campaigns, optimized transfection protocols, performed AAV vector production and QC, and developed cell-based immunoassays to support drug discovery and target validation in oncology and immunology. My technical toolkit includes multicolor flow cytometry, high-content imaging, RNA-seq, and luminescence-based viability assays.
Earlier in my career, at Brown University and the National Institute of Immunology, I gained experience in in vivo studies, viral immunology, and transcriptomic data analysis. My foundational training also includes epigenetic profiling (ChIP-seq), stem cell differentiation, and functional genomics in metabolic and neurodevelopmental disease models. Across all roles, I’ve worked in interdisciplinary teams to troubleshoot complex experiments, scale platforms for screening, and generate high-quality, reproducible data to drive discovery forward.
