Greetings!

I'm a rising sophomore at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute majoring in Computer Science with a concentration in Artificial Intelligence and a Minor in Cognitive Science, with interests in AI/Machine Learning, Data Science, and Software Development. Although technically I am a rising sophomore, I got admitted to the ACCEL+ program which reduces my tenure and thus targeting graduation by May 2026.

I'm pursuing a spring / summer internship/co-op this summer in software engineering, data science, AI, and similar roles to apply my skills in an impactful and meaningful way. I'm also interested in research, business, and finance roles of various other kinds too.

Throughout my time at RPI, I have been able to hone my technical skills in Python, JavaScript, Java, R, C/C++ and HTML/CSS, as well as strengthen my leadership/people management skills as a Resident Assistant and Teachers Assistant for various courses. I am very excited to continue to learn and apply my skills in an impactful and positive way in my personal as well as professional life.

Rensselaer Center for Open Source (RCOS) Troy, NY

PSOFT Tools Project Lead & Developer Aug 2024-Present

• Working with Dr. Konstantin Kuzmin to lead the team of 6 students that develops the Principles of Software Tools website.
• Using Java and React to create custom verification for Hoare Triples, CFGs and counterexamples.
• Creating a platform to execute code in Dafny, and to find the loop invariant of complex loops.
• Create a rigorous test suite to help evaluate new contributions to the project and identify bugs.

RCOS Mentor Aug 2024-Present

• Working with Professor Wes Turner and team to facilitate over 70+ RCOS projects and 400+ students throughout the semester.
• Providing technical support and coaching to projects, to ensure projects are completed within the planned date with correct codes. 
• Grading 25+ student’s open-source contributions and panel presentations for the semester.

VZCode Fullstack Developer May 2024-August 2024

• Worked with Professor Curran Kelleher to develop the multiplayer front/backend of the VZCode Integrated Development Environment.
• Fully developed the multiplayer “follow user” feature, with a toggle button, automatic file switching and auto-scroll to follow another user in real time using CodeMirror 6.
• Created the frontend icons for follow and presence detection in files, and the backend using React JS Webhooks.
• Created fix to ignore typescript related bugs by observing console logs and adding ignore commands to the typescript linter.
• Presented a project summary to over 250 attendees at the RCOS 2024 Summit.

Teachers Assistant (TA) Troy, NY

Physics 2 TA January 2024-May 2024

• Serving as a Teaching Assistant to Dr. Yong Zheng and Professor Glenn Cioleck, supporting 400+ students across 11 sections.
• Delivering comprehensive lectures to over 100 students before exams, clarifying complex concepts in quantum physics.
• Contributed to a 13.7% increase in exam scores compared to previous semesters and a significant increase in pass rates for the course. 

HackRPI Troy, NY

Organizer Aug 2023-May 2024

• Organizing RPI’s 10th Annual 48-Hour Hackathon.
• Working with 15 sponsors for over 20 non-monetary prizes and over $18,000 monetary awards.
• Coordinated logistics, over 50 volunteers, mentors, judges, and keynote speakers, ensuring an engaging experience for the 700+ participants.

13th Street Cats San Jose, CA

Adoption Center Volunteer June 2019-July 2023

• Helping to manage operations at 13th St’s Coleman Adoption Center, overseeing the successful adoption of 1500+ cats over a four-year period.
• Interacting directly with adoptees and guiding them through the adoption process 
• Coordinating with the feeding/spay/neuter program, helping 2600+ cats across the Bay Area.
• Conducting training sessions for new volunteers, demonstrating proper care, handling, and adoption procedures.

• Developed scraper for JSON, HTML/CSS, and text files.
• Created console-based emulations of the google Browser, Spotify, Uber, and Yelp.
