About

Senior energy and EPC executive with 29+ years of international experience leading complex, capital-intensive projects and operating-center performance across LNG, refining, petrochemicals, offshore, carbon capture, and green hydrogen. Proven record spanning project development, FEED, open-book estimating, lump-sum EPC delivery, engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning readiness, client management, and business development.

Former Managing

Director with P&L accountability for an 850+ person operating center; currently leading execution of a multibillion-dollar U.S. LNG development through a global, multi-center delivery model.

Experience

Project Director - Technip Energies - Houston Operating Center | Houston, Texas

(2022)

Commonwealth LNG — 6 × 1.5 MTPA Liquefaction Trains | Louisiana | Present Deputy Project Director for 6 × 1.5 MTPA Commonwealth LNG EPC execution. Lake Charles LNG — 3 × 5.48 MTPA Liquefaction Trains | Louisiana | 2022–2023

  • Progressed the program from FEED and open-book estimate through execution readiness, serving as a key member of the complex contract negotiation team that led to the EPC Prime contract signature for the CWLNG project.
  • As Deputy Project Director, lead EPC execution from Houston across operating centers in Houston, Paris, India, and Bogotá for a multibillion-dollar LNG development.
  • Advanced critical long-lead packages including the main cryogenic heat exchanger, mixed-refrigerant compressor, and Solar gas-turbine generators for the approximately 120 MW Power Island — 5 × Solar Titan 350 gas turbines, modularized at the Solar shop — while driving procurement to approximately 99% completion; manage interfaces between Power Island / generation equipment and the broader LNG EPC scope.
  • Directed early construction package strategy and awards (~$1.0B+) covering site preparation, storm-surge wall, marine/MOF, LNG tanks, and piling while managing U.S. LNG regulatory and permitting interfaces.
  • Maintained working relationships with major U.S. Gulf Coast construction contractors supporting LNG site execution, subcontracting strategy, and construction interfaces.
  • Obtained FERC NTP for site construction and multiple variances; supported LaDOTD transportation permits and field material-management strategies.
  • Responsible for progress, scheduling and cost controls for a portion of the EPFC scope.
  • Led Re-FEED / verification within the KBR–Technip Energies–Zachry (KTZ) joint venture, using value engineering to optimize target cost for the greenfield LNG development.
  • Integrated highly modularized scope—including approximately 150,000 tons of ISBL PAUs and OSBL PARs—with specialty subcontracting packages; EPC contract signed in 2024.

Managing Director - TechnipFMC / Technip Energies - Mumbai, India

(2019 - 2022)

Held P&L and operational-delivery accountability for an 850+ person, multidisciplinary and multifunctional operating center serving domestic and international projects. Led Mumbai Operating Center across disciplines, functions, and global projects.

  • Delivered revenue and gross margin above forecast for three consecutive years while overseeing technical, commercial, safety, quality, talent, and delivery performance.
  • Maintained client-satisfaction performance above target and led two strategic EPC wins during COVID lockdowns and remote-working constraints: IOCL Barauni Once-Through Hydrocracker and Nayara Polypropylene Unit.
  • BP Net Zero Teesside: delivered FEED on an accelerated schedule for an integrated power and approximately 2 MTPA carbon-capture development with GE Power, Shell CCU, and Balfour Beatty; supported EPC cost estimation.
  • IOCL Barauni OHCU: led execution of a high-pressure/high-temperature hydrocracker involving CrMoV heavy-haul reactors and clad columns; reached approximately 60% progress with engineering and procurement complete before transition to Houston.
  • IOCL Haldia DHDT: led lump-sum EPC delivery for a high-pressure Euro VI unit within a congested operating refinery; managed 350,000 home-office manhours and 2.5 million LTI-free site manhours and negotiated contract closeout with PMC and client.
  • HPCL Vizag Naphtha Isomerization Unit: achieved mechanical completion through COVID-era constraints; mobilized subcontract labor safely and delivered 200,000 home-office manhours, 1,200 construction-management man-months, and 5.5 million LTI-free site manhours.
  • BHP Billiton Ruby Well Protector Platform: delivered engineering, process, procurement services, and fabrication-yard support for a U.S. project entirely from Mumbai—an operating-center first.
  • BP Tortue FPSO: executed approximately 600,000 topsides engineering manhours through a multidisciplinary team and achieved a critical milestone supporting yard fabrication.
  • Yuri Green Hydrogen / Yara Ammonia, Australia: supported engineering and supply of balance-of-plant modules from Technip Energies’ Dahej modular-manufacturing yard.
