I have been employed as a social worker for over 20 years and am looking for a career change. The skills required for a social worker are much the same as the ones needed to be a successful flight attendant. I have excellent customer service skills, am trained in crisis intervention and know how to effectively problem solve and deescalate upset individuals. I am a fast learner and thrive in a busy environment. I am bilingual, English/Spanish, which enables me to effectively serve a broader clientele.
Clinical Social Worker: have worked in a variety of settings as a social worker in both adult and pediatric settings: healthcare, school, child protection. I have extensive experienc in crisis intervention and bereavement. I have supervised students and led various work groups.
