I am a passionate music educator, performer, and composer dedicated to promoting equity in music education. With over a decade of teaching experience, I create engaging and interactive music experiences that support diverse learning styles, including students with disabilities. My teaching practice integrates intercultural and cross-cultural awareness, fostering a sense of belonging for learners from all backgrounds.

My goal is to make music fun and accessible to all, regardless of background or ability.

With over 10 years of teaching experience in both private and public schools in Singapore, I have worked with students of different age and abilities, specializing in electone, keyboard, and ukulele. In my current role in Boston, I continue to design inclusive and effective educational resources to support students with different learning needs, incorporating:

• Color-coded materials
• Graphic notation
• Backing tracks
• A variety of music pedagogies including Dalcroze, Kodály, Orff, and Lucy Green's Informal Learning approach.​

I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Music Education at Longy School of Music of Bard College in Boston, with graduation expected in May 2025.
