I’m Mike Hennessey, a Boston-based video producer with more than 30 years of experience bringing stories to life on screen.

As Senior

Producer at Resonate Video, I make the production process smooth and collaborative. I act as both a production partner and video strategist, helping clients tell their stories and solve real-world business challenges. My team specializes in working with executives and C-suite leaders. My work spans education, tech, bioscience, and consumer brands, with projects for organizations like National Geographic, Sam Adams, and Thermo Fisher Scientific.

I’m a Boston-based video producer with over 30 years of experience in the industry. My career began in live events and sports production, where I worked on thousands of concerts, hundreds of sporting events, and over a thousand corporate events. For 12 years, I served as a full-time Director of Photography, collaborating with organizations like National Geographic, NASA, and the Smithsonian.

As my focus shifted, I moved into more strategic producing and founded Resonate Video. For the past decade, I’ve partnered with brands to blend creative storytelling with business strategy, helping clients create videos that solve real business challenges.

I hold a degree in video and film production and have continued my professional development through coursework at institutions like Emerson and a range of industry workshops. More recently, I’ve also served as a guest lecturer at several colleges and led professional workshops on topics such as interview lighting and on-location greenscreen.
