Residential Aide/Shelter Operations

I put a stop to the system of revolving doors and became a man who dedicates his time and energy to helping others who seek and need the same. From substance abuse, previous incarceration, and lack of education, being homeless can be a life-changing and scary situation. I've learned how to help individuals dealing with many situations of homelessness. I've worked with basic education educators, substance abuse/Guidance counselors, child support, and housing specialists, Mental Health, and domestic violence care coordinators. I've worked closely with organization directors who clearly care about the safety and well-being of individuals who are experiencing homelessness in any category. Every morning, I wake up, drink, and appreciate a hot cup of coffee, remembering what it felt like to be in that position. I look forward to sharing my experiences.
