Answering phone, intake of prescription, gathering necessary allergies, patient information, insurance for registry of patient profile. Filling prescriptions, calling medical professional to verify needed information. Working with cover my meds for prior authorization on medications.
Ordering and inventory of medication and office supplies. Point of sale and verification of final sale. Filing hard copy prescriptions, taking messages, input and rejection of insurance. Calling insurance for loss medication/therapy change/vacation overrides.
Processing vaccines and clinical tests(flu,strep,COVID) schedulung & confirming appointments. Restocking work bays.
