Risthika Neopaney

Hello, my name is Risthika Neopaney, and I am currently an undergraduate Public Health student at Slippery Rock University. I am passionate about promoting health and well-being within communities and eager to continue learning and growing in my field. Upon graduating, I plan to pursue a Master’s in Public Health with a focus on epidemiology to further enhance my ability to make a positive impact on public health initiatives.

• S.T.E.M. Coordinator (Pittsburgh Miller PreK-5): Developed and implemented STEM activities, taught math, science, and English, and mentored students.
• Biology Teaching Assistant (Carlow University): Tutored high school students, supported professors with class discussions, and graded assignments.
• HIV Testing Research Assistant (Slippery Rock University): Collaborated on research publications, analyzed data, and implemented survey-based feedback.
• Internship (West Penn Hospital): Shadowed nurses, assisted with patient care, and supported medication-related tasks.
• Student Worker Roles: Assisted in promoting and coordinating public health programs, mentored first-year students, and engaged in faculty collaboration within Public Health and Social Work departments.
