Rodney Mateo

I have recently graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) with a Master’s of Science in Strategic Communications. I am actively looking for a entry level position in the field of communications media.

As a communications professional with over two years of experience in the nonprofit sector, I have developed and implemented successful communications strategies that have led to increased engagement and built strong relationships with stakeholders. In my most current position as a project manager at IUP, I have been responsible for developing and executing communications plans, communicating and fulfilling client needs, creating content for a variety of platforms, managing social media and website content, and ensuring the client was involved in the entire process. I am well-versed in the best practices for communications and digital media.

I also have a deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities that exist in communicating complex scientific and historical topics. I am a strategic thinker with strong writing and editing skills, and I am confident in my ability to create compelling and engaging content that resonates with diverse audiences.

I am a recent master's graduate from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
