About

Event coordinator and adult educator in Portland, with a background in community events, food systems, and sustainability education. I coordinated Portland’s CROP Hunger Walk for three years, handling logistics, volunteer recruitment, and partner outreach for events ranging from about 12 to 200 walkers. For six years I taught adults to grow their own food through Oregon Food Bank’s Seed to Supper program, adapting instruction for every experience level.

As founder of Eco Racing Northwest, I’m planning the Three Capes Endurance Run, a 115-mile North Coast event targeted for 2028, which keeps me working on permits, partners, and volunteer planning. I’m seeking full-time, part-time, or contract event coordination or sustainability education roles in the Portland area as well as the Oregon Coast.

  • Leading permitting research, aid station planning, and partner development for a 2028 event.

Adult Education

  • Adapted instruction for different experience levels and explained practical information clearly. Farm Intern at Schoolyard Farms (2014 – 2014) • Supported production for CSA members, Head Start programs, local grocers, and school cafeterias. Landscaping, Organic Farming, and Orchard Work (2011 – 2017) • Worked on irrigation systems, soil health, and seasonal planning in outdoor settings shaped by weather and field conditions.
