Hi, I am Roselyn Narayan. I started my career at Easter Seals in a afterschool program as a Life skills Coach where i assisted teens with multiple disabilities with homework, teaching basic everyday life skills such hand washing, art & craft, prep snacks and help serve and play indoor and outdoor games or physical activities. This enlighten my curiosity to learn and grow in the teaching field while l continued to pursue my child development education. With this, l also attended work related workshops, gained knowledge from professional development classes. Today, raising my own child as well, l feel much more confident working with students, meeting and understanding family needs and expectations with my best abilities.
My first job experience was a Life Skills Coach in 2009, where i help students with home works, basic life skills for 3 years. Also, worked as a part-time assistant preschool teacher, and teacher while pursuing associated degree in child development to a fully qualified preschool teacher and lead teacher till present. In addition, l have studied and completed medical assistant class with practicum. I had great internship experience at a pediatric clinic which has enhanced my learning ability about children. This has helped me understand the importance of students health and well being and being helpful during any emergencies as well.
