Art lets me create things visually from concepts and ideas that are constantly jumping around my head. I love to create worlds and anything in it like creatures, vegetation, weapons, and apparel. As an artist it is important to have a unique style, and therefore I feel I spent a decade creating a style for myself that separates me from others.
From the style of art to the ‘thing’ being created. In addition, that does not mean I am adamant about my art. I learned to adapt with many art styles and trends to be able to be a productive freelancer over the years.
I am very versatile and willing to work with the customers to get the creative juices flowing.
Thank your for letting me express myself and I hope my portfolio can express the range I have. Thank you for your time and looking forward to hearing from you.
My first step into the professional world was working as a receptionist /security at IMAX Head Quarters in Culver City. It was your everyday office work; answering calls, booking appointments, and facilitating guests and workers. Aside from the office work, being at IMAX, it was also where they hosted private movie premieres for famous celebrties and important clientele. I was in charge of checking all guests in and setting up any work needed between engineers, facility, etc.
Unfortunately I was let go during the pandemic and had to resort to other work. I did some freelance digital work as well as chalk and mural gigs because I am also a traditional artist. I care across a DJ online who was the owner of Broken Complex studios.
His name is DJ Hoppa and he became my employer. He made me the head graphic designer and illustrator for their company where I worked on cover art and other merchandise art. Most of my artworks are online on different music platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, and Youtube as I worked with various artists and collaborations within the record label.
I decided to leave the company for a while to focus on getting my own work done like my comicbook I published called ’The Melon’ on Webtoon. I also worked on a couple of boardgames that I’m still working on the final details.
I graduated from California State University of Los Angeles with a bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts.
