For the past 10 years I have fulfilled ample duties of customer service positions. In addition I’ve also applied those skills to perform effectively as a restaurant manager. Gaining an adept communication skill supported my success in every position I held in previous positions with colleagues. My optimistic, personable and initiative work ethic always validates my candidacy in various job positions.
At the start of my experience I naturally adapted to the restaurant environment. I progressed over the first four years from serving, hostessing and supervising to a full-time management position. Progressing to the role of management allowed me the perspective of business start-up and the processes required to do so.
Self-educating and communications with my superiors strongly shaped the necessary mindset needed for an effective leader. Having the position of a manager motivated me to successfully build operational procedures, daily floor plans, policy, marketing/social media outlets, hiring/firing methods and fulfilling daily sales reports. Within a year Fox29’s Bob Kelly responded to our queries and featured the restaurant on their segment of “Breakfast with Bob”
