My name is Sam Schueler, I am currently seeking a position in a high-volume high-end managing bartending or event planning position. I've spent the last year working two seasonal contracts at Deer Valley ski resort and The Yellowstone Club. I'm currently working on VIP adventure based yachts in Hawaii and Alaska. I'm in the process right now of getting my introductory Sommelier and then eventually my full level two certification. I have training with Servsafe, Red Cross and Linkedin learning and am willing to relocate anywhere to secure a high level position. I have been in the hospitality industry for 7 years working in all aspects of the job. From managing a multi bar event space, Head bartending a small dive bar in Australia, Leading a team of 20+ servers during high-end events at the Yellowstone club and working with VIP clientele at Deer Valley ski resort. I'm currently employed with UnCruise adventures in Hawaii working aboard the Safari Explore, a VIP luxury yacht. I'm looking for a stable high end job working on land with opportunities to grow and learn within the industry that I love.
I have several certifications with Servsafe (Allergens, Food Handlers and Alcohol Handlers.) My current endeavor is completing my level one sommelier training which takes place in July of this year with an intent to complete the level two certifications by the end of next year. I am a high school graduate with a diploma and have also completed several LinkedIn Learning classes.
