Hello! My name is Seav Mey Taing. In 2022, I graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A) from Northern Illinois University, majoring in visual communication and minoring in Chinese.I am a native Cambodian, and I speak three languages. I am a graphic designer who is passionate about UI and UX design.I love photography, craft, drawing, traveling, listening to audiobooks, and watching Asian dramas.
During 2021 and 2022, I joined the NIU-JCI Honor Students’ Online Partnership with Chinese students, and Game Lab Challenge with Japanese and Polish students. I also was a vice president of Chinese Club at NIU, a full-time nail technician at Pro Nail in Sycamore, and a part time graphic designer at Northern Star. As a nail technician, I am required to build rapport with multiple clients and develop the design that best meets their needs. As a graphic designer at Norther Star, I worked in the advertising department, and I was responsible to design Ads to get the best clients’ need. It is important for me to remain current on trending design and communicate them with my team members.
