I am a recently retired Special Education Teacher for early childhood to high school students with over 22 years of teaching experience at one school. I have experience developing and implementing curriculum for a diverse population of students with disabilities ranging from ADHD, Autism, physical and mental impairments, and social-emotional disorders. I create and implement Individual Education Plans and have served as LEA and Special Ed.
Coordinator for our school. My job also required progress monitoring, assessments, literacy and math instruction as well as occupational therapy interventions and applied behavior analyst for students with behavior issues. I am passionate, highly organized, and responsible.
