I am 27 and currently live in Salt Lake City, Utah. I have a degree in mechanical engineering and work as a VDC engineer for a local construction company. The job requires that I coordinate the design models with the subcontractors' architects and other engineers.
The job requires immense attention to detail, analytical thinking, and clear communication skills to ensure a successful collaborative effort. My passion, though, is travel. In high school and college, I participated in several volunteer projects in Germany.
I served as a volunteer and then as an assistant project leader for the volunteer agency. As assistant project leader, I was responsible for the logistics and cultural integration of our volunteer group. From these experiences, I have found a passion for travel and have tried to share that passion with friends and family.
I have planned multiple international trips for friends to Spain, Morocco, France, and Germany. Domestically, I have planned history trips through the east coast, national park tours in my home state, and others. I have planned two of my trips to the Balkans.
The first trip was nine days down the Croatian coast, which mixed historical and leisure stops. The second trip was a 20-day cultural immersion road trip through seven Balkan countries. Through all these experiences, I have loved the challenge of planning trips for all types of people with varying interests, budgets, and schedules.
As a traveler myself, I understand the stress that planning a trip can cause and enjoy the ability to ease that stress and give people peace of mind and the ability to enjoy their time.
