I am Sushmita Roy, currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree (BSc) at the University of Lincoln. I moved to the UK in September 2024 and I am eager to begin my career as a Care Assistant.
I am a compassionate, patient, and respectful individual who is passionate about supporting others. I strongly believe in providing care with dignity, respect, and kindness, especially for elderly individuals who once cared for others.
I have approximately one year of experience working in an old age care home in my home country, where I supported elderly residents, including those with disabilities and mental health conditions. While I do not yet have UK-based experience, I am a quick learner and highly motivated to adapt to UK care standards and provide high-quality, person-centred care. I am committed to promoting independence, ensuring safety, and maintaining the dignity and well-being of those I support.
