Tanner Schultz

I am soon to be graduate from the University of Louisville in May 2025 with hands-on experience in data analysis, system design, and business process improvement. Right now, I’m an HRIS Intern at American Commercial Barge Line, where I help streamline HR systems, build reports using SQL, and work with teams to solve real business problems.

I’ve also worked on web design projects as a Student Consultant and led teams at PetSmart, giving me a solid mix of technical, leadership, and customer-focused skills. I enjoy breaking down complex ideas, improving workflows, and making things run smoother—whether through data or teamwork.

I’ve built a well-rounded foundation through roles in both technical and leadership settings. As an HRIS Intern at American Commercial Barge Line, I work closely with HR and IT teams to improve data accuracy, streamline systems, and develop reports using SQL and Excel. I’ve also served as a Student System Design Consultant, helping a local company design a more user-friendly website and resolve key system issues. Before that, I led a team at PetSmart as an Associate Lead, managing inventory, training associates, and ensuring excellent customer service—sharpening my ability to lead, adapt, and communicate effectively.

I’m completing a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a major in Computer Information Systems at the University of Louisville, graduating May 2025. My studies have focused on business process management, system analysis, and data analytics. I’ve consistently made the Dean’s List and earned scholarships for academic achievement.
