I am currently retired as of 2020 and looking for part-time work. Working with children and families has been my life work passion. Work experience included Residential Program Director at Child Crisis Arizona 1986-2017. The shelter program provided 24 care for children in DCS custody ages newborn - 12 years from abuse, neglect and abandonment reasons. My position included oversight of all aspects of shelter program.
As Residential Program Director at Child Crisis Arizona - Responsibilities included assisting in overall efficient operation and coordination of all aspects of shelter services program including, development and implementation of procedures and protocols, ensure program followed agency guidelines, policies, monitor staff and records for agency and DCS licensing compliance. Provided leadership, motivation, training, supervision, conflict resolution and performance evaluations of Child Care Specialist Supervisors, Shelter Case Managers, Tutor, Behavior Coach and Food Services Coordinator.
Child Family Studies – Certifications included, Trauma Informed Care, Crisis Intervention, Family Centered Practic, Attachment & Bonding, Domestic Violence, Dynamics Child/Physical/Sexual Abuse.
