Conducted research and advocacy for various fishing groups, including obtaining MSC certification for Maine's lobster fishery for the Fund for the Advancement of Sustainable Maine Lobster, opposing and delaying MSC certification for the US Federal Scallop Fishery, advocating for small boat fishermen at the Federal level and serving as an at-large representative to the New England Fishery Management Council.
