Wireless Technical Support Engineer: Currently seeking remote Cloud Infrastructure/ Support Engineer position. Google| Azure| AWS | Oracle. Also would consider a support role to Telco running Cloud based applications.
With over 30 years of experience in Telecommunication I have always wanted to stay on the leading edge.
I have worked on the following over the years:
Served in the US Army for 8 years being a Tactical Circuit Controller and Switch technician.
I then started building Nortel switching offices to include DMS 100/250/500.
Instructed at GTE government systems the new Mobile Subscriber Equipment (MSE) to the US Army and National Guard. This was for a Core switching nodes.
Instructed SL100 and DMS250 to students at a Vocational School in Kansas.
Worked as a switch technician on DMS250/100/500 with MCI.
Performed Technical Advanced Support (TAS) for Nortel on DMS/VSE platforms support to Tier 1 operators to include MCI, TMO, Verizon, AT&T to name a few.
I then moved to the Emergency Recovery (ER) group when it was formed to support Wireless Platforms.
I remained there until Ericsson bought that division of Nortel. I remained in ER, and started training on the Ericsson line of products to include the Voice/Packet Core nodes to include Routers, MME, TSP, IMS, LTE, vMME/ vEPC/vSBG, etc...…
I find myself needing to learn a new skillset so I have decided to take on MultiCloud and DevOps.
Currently in the MultiCloud bootcamp where focus is on AWS/GCP/Azure/Oracle as well as DevOps. Terraform, GIT, Docker, Kubernetes
