With five years of experience in elementary education, I have dedicated myself to shaping young minds from 1st to 3rd grade. Beyond the classroom, I've extended my commitment by tutoring students ranging from kindergarten to 5th grade through the Boys and Girls Club after school programs each year. Throughout my career, I've assumed various leadership roles, including spearheading my school's social media presence and website management. Additionally, in my third year of teaching, I was honored to receive the Teacher of the Year award, recognizing my dedication and impact in the field of education. Throughout my five years of teaching post-graduation, I’ve actively engaged in professional development opportunities to enhance my teaching skills. This includes participation in programs such as THRIVE, a PBIS school incentive aimed at promoting positive behavior among students. I’ve also undergone specialized training in reading instruction and worked with Title I students, gaining valuable insights into supporting children with trauma.
