Tyler Empson

Hi, my name is Tyler Empson a Human centered industrial designer with 5+ years of experience in the end-to-end Product development field. My history as a designer includes time in product design consultancies focusing on consumer, industrial, and life science products and experiences. I have a wide range of skills ranging from sketching and initial idea generation all the way through the development process to final product DFM and Diplomacy with manufacturers.

I am particularly passionate about creating impactful designs that improve the quality and beauty of everyday living by creating harmonious objects of beauty and simplicity.

My most recent experiences are working in the the consulting field of design at ELEVEN llc 23-25'. as well as Essential Design 22' and Sprout (contract). Secondarily I also handle freelance work on off hours occasionally, working for clients in the skincare industry creating device designs, packaging, and 3d Vis support. In addition to my time as a consultant I also actively pursue extra community involvement such as teaching at local design schools such as Wentworth School of design, and attending IDSA events in the area.

Attended College For Creative Studies For Industrial Design and Graphic Design. Some specialization with Parametric/Computational design specifically with Grasshopper. Most recently audited Harvard GSD Architecture classes: "the architectural imagination"
