About

I’m a Computer Science and Engineering student at UC Irvine with experience in software development, embedded systems, and machine learning research. Through internships at Brose and Tessolve, I’ve developed embedded C firmware, automated data analysis in Python, and built tools to support engineering workflows. My projects include a safety-aware navigation app using FastAPI and React Native and research on galaxy image analysis.

I enjoy debugging challenging problems and building software with practical applications, and I’m seeking opportunities in software engineering and firmware development.

Experience

Project Engineer Intern at Brose (2026-07 – 2026-08)

  • Wrote and tested embedded C firmware for tailgate actuation logic, flashing builds to the ECU for in-vehicle validation
  • Redesigned actuator control and motor-drive timing, increasing deployment speed by ∼15% through bench and vehicle testing
  • Created block diagrams, state diagrams, and FMEA charts documenting control logic and failure modes
  • Wired ECU-to-tailgate harness connectors, establishing CAN-bus communication with the GMC MultiPro control module

Undergraduate Research Intern at University of California, Irvine (2025-09 – 2026-06)

  • Processed 500+ JWST and SDSS FITS images through the SpArcFiRe pipeline in Python to evaluate spiral-arm detection
  • Benchmarked extraction accuracy across 30+ galaxy subclasses, debugging edge cases to improve robustness
  • Developed a Random Forest model on SpArcFiRe features, achieving 0.15 RMSE for automated spirality scoring

Software Engineer Intern at TessolveDTS Inc. (2024-06 – 2024-08)

  • Automated 200+ Shmoo plots in Python across 50+ voltage-frequency corners, speeding failure-point detection by 40%
  • Built a LangChain static-analysis tool to parse 10k+ lines of C/C++ firmware and extract function relationships
  • Cut code-review and characterization-test analysis time by 30% through automated visualization and reporting
