I am a music teacher with almost 25 years of experience. I have had great evaluations through my career and have a good rapport with my students. However, the last several years have become extremely stressful and the work load is becoming unmanageable.
Making a career switch has been on my mind more and more, especially overseas - particularly in Poland, but I’m not sure where to start. I have updated my resume but I’m curious if meeting with employers whowould be helpful in matching me to potential jobs. I have not applied for any other jobs but I’m hoping to start an exit plan in the next few months.
I do speak Polish fluently and my immediate family lives there.
I am a musician/educator/small business owner with over 25 years of work experience in music instruction and have educated students of all ages on effective piano technique, with a focus on the Classical repertoire and organized a variety of performance recitals. With owning a business, I have personally trained and employed sub-contracted teachers for various roles in instruction for piano, guitar, brass and woodwinds and vocal instruction. I've created and balanced budgets and stabilized a billing strategy implementing my own accounting system
