Manager Stewardship and Regulatory Issues
Objective:
Facilitate operational efficiency and assist the executive and management teams to achieve strategic objectives. Manage the administrative and secretariat requirements of the board, board committees, CEO, and management team by coordinating resources, improving workflow processes, and maintaining collaborative team environments.
Responsibilities included:
- Act as a liaison between the executive team and internal and external team members to execute all required administrative and operational needs to maximize business workflows.
- Maintain best practices and industry standards to provide a leaner, consistent, and reliable operational cost structure.
- Develop and maintain effective central filing and retrieval systems for all administrative and secretariat-related information.
- Manage and coordinate the successful implementation of specific projects in line with scope, time, and budget.
- Maintain and coordinate executive, internal, and external team members’ appointment schedules by planning and scheduling meetings, conferences, teleconferences, and travel.
- Coordinate and support meetings, road shows, workshops, and other events’ logistics, including catering, meeting materials, technical assistance, travel, and accommodation.
- Manage and coordinate enquiries from members, the media, and stakeholders by collaborating with relevant parties to ensure an appropriate and timely response.
- Compile informative and explanatory reports for the CEO and board, and manage and coordinate electronic newsletter inputs, press releases, and content for social media posts.
- Timely professional preparation and distribution of notices, agendas, and minutes of board and committee meetings and follow-up on the execution of decisions.
- Maintain member confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain accurate and relevant workflow procedures.
- Track expenses and report variances to the CEO and management team.
- Manage and coordinate administration regarding contracts and finances.
- Update and maintain company policies, including HR and Finances.
- Provide inputs for budgeting purposes and monitor and report variances.
